I’m a guest on “The Compassionate Educators Show” podcast!

Marie Kueny’s “The Compassionate Educators Show” is a podcast “For educators and parents who desire to model joy and compassion for their students without sacrificing themselves in the process!” Sounds good, right?

I’m really honored to be the featured guest for Episode 41: “Creating Safety and Inclusion for LGBTQ+ Students and Staff with Lee Wind” Marie and I have a great conversation, looking at authenticity, safety, and the many ways (big and small) that each of us can let LGBTQIA2+ young people know we are safe people in their lives.

In under 38 minutes we cover a lot of ground, and even spoke about the fun Queer History Quiz I launched. Marie took the quiz, and her response was great:

Take the Queer History Quiz here: www.leewind.org/quiz and tell us your Pride colors! Mine were red and orange for life and healing. My score was dismal, but that means I have lots of room to learn and grow!

You can listen to the podcast episode here or wherever you listen to podcasts.

My thanks to Marie for this opportunity.

The light in me recognizes and acknowledges the light in you,
Lee
