A Fun Way To Celebrate LGBTQIA2+ Pride This June: Take the Queer History Quiz to Reveal Your Pride Colors

You know those BuzzFeed-style quizzes that tell you if your colors are Fall, Winter, Spring, or Summer; or which Disney Princess castle you would live in; or which Grey’s Anatomy character would be your soul mate? They’re fun, and fast, and some of them tell us things about ourselves we didn’t know before.

Inspired by that, I’ve put together Answer these 9 Queer History Questions to Reveal Your Pride Colors, which aims to do all of that, too – it’s fun, and fast, and tells the folks who take it something new about history and ourselves – with the stories of men who loved men, women who loved women, people who loved without regard to gender, and people who lived outside gender boundaries.

The answers are all pulled from my new nonfiction book for kids age 11 and up, No Way, They Were Gay? Hidden Lives and Secret Loves, which is one place those intrigued by the quiz answers can learn more.

I hope you’ll take the quiz, and share it with people you know as a way to celebrate Pride month. The url to share is easy: leewind.org/quiz

The light in me recognizes and acknowledges the light in you,
Lee
